    Reduce mandatory parking minimums .

Sec 1.4.5 has the minimum parking requirements enforce the worst parts of urban sprawl. The parking requirements needed to support business are 2-4x larger than the space in the store. Reduction of spaces should be as follows: - If the parking space labeled is greater or equal to 3spaces/100 m then they have to build a parking garage. - If the parking space is 0.6/per unit they build a parking garage. maybe have Discounts to adding trees and or benches in the area.

No street parking on bicycle lanes. Actually enforce it.

And/or no dual side residential parking. These are more safety concerns. Bike lanes might as well not exist when anyone can just park in them. Protected bike lanes would help with this.

When new developments go up, clear cutting the entire area of trees is not allowed.

Trees or bush that are safety concerns to the workers/equipment are ok to be cleared. However anytime a new neighborhood goes in there must be an effort made to preserve existing trees in the area. Ideally 50% preserved. But I imagine 20-30% would be more ideal. There are tree species which do not destroy pavement and sidewalks which can be allowed to remain or be planted instead.

1km radius of ONLY residential area allowed before area must have a commercial or mixed use area.

This would help with urban sprawl and needing to drive everywhere to go out for simple things. Even if the commercial area was something as simple as a convenient store. Having small sustainable businesses within communities makes them more desirable.
