Recreation and Parks Master Plan
Background
The City of Pickering is updating its Recreation and Parks Master Plan, which will help guide future investments for community centres, ice rinks, sports fields, pools and splash pads, playgrounds, and more over the next ten years.
The updated Plan will also help ensure that the City's parks and recreation opportunities are positioned to successfully respond to new opportunities, evolving needs, and changes (including COVID-19 impacts, provincial legislations, population growth, and participation trends).
Get involved
We want to hear from you! How do you use Pickering's parks and recreation facilities? What types of activities do you participate in? Is there a recreation opportunity you think is missing in the community or would like to see more of? Your input will help shape the future of parks and recreation opportunities in Pickering.
