The City of Pickering's Recreation & Parks 10 Year Plan recommends the development of Pickleball courts to meet the current and future demands for playing time.
The City is considering the installation of 6 outdoor pickleball courts at Diana, Princess of Wales Park for Fall 2025.
The courts are proposed off of Pickering Parkway, near the gravel lot, with construction scheduled to start for Summer 2025.
The courts will be open for play, weather permitting from May 1st to October 31st during daylight hours starting at 8:00 am. An acoustic study has been conducted to determine likely noise levels and inform design of the courts to reduce noise where possible.
