Pickering Blooms

Celebrate the beauty of your garden with Pickering Blooms!

Do you have a garden you're proud of? We want to see it! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we invite you to share the beauty you've cultivated with the community!

There are two ways to participate (using the submission form here):

1. Garden of Distinction Contest - Enter the contest by submitting 3 to 5 photos of your garden through the registration form here. Once you've entered, you can pick-up a Pickering Blooms Garden sign to display in your front garden (pick-up is at the City of Pickering booth at the Farmers' Market any Tuesday between 9 am - 2 pm, which is located in the northwest parking lot of the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex).

Once the contest closes, staff will review all photo submissions and select winning gardens/notify winners.

2. Garden Showcase - If you are not interested in submitting photos of your garden for the contest, but would like to showcase your community pride and support the program, select this option on the form here and you will get to pick-up a Pickering Blooms Garden sign to display in your front garden.

Once you complete the form, you can pick-up your lawn sign at the City of Pickering's booth at the Farmers' Market any Tuesday between 9 am - 2 pm, which is located in the northwest parking lot of the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex.

You can also engage with fellow gardeners by using the Discussion Board below. You can ask questions, give advice, or chat about anything gardening-related!
